People seeking a tranquil lifestyle not too far from the cities should check out these suburbs in Minnesota, according to Niche.

MEDINA, MN — If you're looking for a suburb that is safe and quiet, but also offers all the necessary amenities, then Medina is the place for you. That's according to analytics website Niche and their latest rankings of Minnesota suburbs.

"Medina is in Hennepin County and is one of the best places to live in Minnesota," states Niche.

"Living in Medina offers residents a sparse suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Medina there are a lot of coffee shops and parks. Residents of Medina tend to be conservative. The public schools in Medina are highly rated."

Niche compiled the rankings based on things like public schools, crime, plus activities and amenities. Medina scored A's and B's in most of Niche's livability categories.

Homes in Medina aren't cheap, however. The median home value there is $611,800, up from the national average of $244,900.
