Tornado 'Confirmed' North Of Twin Cities Metro

TWIN CITIES, MN — A "confirm tornado" was located near North Branch, 8 miles east of Cambridge, at 4:52 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Impacts include flying debris, and mobile homes in its path will be likely damaged or destroyed, officials said. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur, and tree damage is likely, the NWS added.

The tornado was confirmed by local law enforcement.

Meanwhile, a tornado warning was issued for Rush City and Harris, Minnesota. The warning expires at 5:30 p.m.
