Halloween falls on Sunday this year, with holiday celebrations planned throughout the weekend in Maple Grove. Forecasts for this weekend show there’s a good chance we're in for a treat when it comes to the weather.

A dry weekend is in store for Maple Grove, with a high of 56 degrees and mostly sunny weather on Saturday, according to AccuWeather.

Halloween 5K, Trunk-Or-Treat Events Planned In Maple Grove

The 13th annual Halloween Fearless 5K around Arbor Lake is scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m. Sunday at the old Claddagh Irish Pub, 7890 Main St. N.

Several Maple Grove businesses and organizations are planning trunk-or-treat events this weekend to help kids get in the Halloween spirit.

Local businesses are set to participate in a trunk-or-treat from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Grove Community Center.

The Eastman Nature Center is hosting its "Not So Spooky Mystery" event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Maple Grove's Church of the Open Door is inviting families to dress up and check out its trunk-or-treat event from 3-5 p.m. Saturday.

The MiniSota Play Cafe is throwing a Halloween party from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday with prizes, games, candy, face-painting and more.

A trunk-or-treat at Maple Grove Covenant Church is scheduled to run from noon to 1:30 p.m. Halloween Sunday.
