Wind Chills To Reach Minus 25 Thursday In Maple Grove: NWS

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Maple Grove residents can expect a steep drop in temperatures following the latest round of snow throughout the area Wednesday.

Wind chill values are forecast to drop as low as 25 degrees below zero Thursday in the city, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS forecast for Maple Grove shows a high of minus 3 on Thursday.

Hennepin County is due to be under a wind chill advisory from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 3 p.m. Thursday.

Friday is set to be mostly sunny with a high near 8 degrees, the NWS said.

Temperatures are forecast to rise Saturday, with a high near 30 degrees, but arctic air and hazardous wind chills are due to return Sunday to Tuesday, the NWS said.

Aside from a brief reprieve on Saturday, arctic air will be with us through next Tuesday.
