Woman Dead After Crash In Plymouth On Sunday

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a 40-year-old Plymouth woman was killed in a crash on Highway 169.

PLYMOUTH, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a 40-year-old Plymouth woman was killed in a crash on Southbound 169 Sunday afternoon.

Just after 5 p.m., three vehicles were traveling south on Highway 169 approaching Highway 55 in Plymouth.

As traffic was slowing due to a crash up ahead, a Ford Econoline Cutaway crashed into a Nissan Altima, pushing it into the Chevrolet Tahoe, according to authorities.

A woman in the Altima was killed, but no other details about her have been released.

A 13-year-old passenger and the 41-year-old driver in the Tahoe — both of Minneapolis — suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The 40-year-old driver of the Cutaway — of Brooklyn Park — also suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
