MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

How do you know the star local student?
Nolan just graduated from Saint Thomas Academy and I am the Assistant Athletic Director.
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Nolan has organized two car shows to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and the Saint Thomas Academy Pool Project. He has raised over $2,500 in the past two years and he is hoping to continue to have car shows in the future.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Nolan is very interested in cars and thought this would be a great way to raise some money for two great organizations. Each show has drawn over 25 cars and he is hoping to make this event even bigger over the next few years. Nolan is also an Eagle Scout from Troop 264 in Mendota.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Nolan!
