Arctic Blast To Bring -21 Wind Chills, More Snow Friday: MN Weather

Minnesota will see "wind chill values of 15 to 30 degrees below zero expected this afternoon through tonight," the NWS said.

TWIN CITIES, MN — A blast of arctic air will bring temperatures down to 6 degrees below zero Wednesday, with wind chills well below zero across the Twin Cities metro area.

"A very cold arctic airmass will be moving in today," the National Weather Service said. "This will result in falling temperatures through the day, with wind chill values of 15 to 30 degrees below zero expected this afternoon through tonight."

Following Tuesday's snow, another round looks to arrive Friday night.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 1. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph after midnight.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 20. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 23 by 5am. East wind 10 to 15 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
