1. Demetrius Wynne was sentenced Thursday to 27 years in prison for the murder of his neighbor, Susan Spiller. Prosecutors said Wynne broke into Spiller's home and stabbed her to death in 2015, when he was 14 years old. (KARE11)

2. More details are emerging from the Minnesota Department of Human Rights investigation into the Minneapolis Police Department. The report shows police created fake social media accounts to follow Black people, and consistently used “racist, misogynistic, and disrespectful language.” Mayor Jacob Frey called to “shift the culture in our police department.” (Patch)

3. Minnesota legislators said Thursday they’ve reached a “tentative deal” to offer bonuses to the state’s frontline workers. According to CBS Minneapolis, $750 relief checks would potentially go to about 667,000 workers. (CBS)
