1. A woman was shot Wednesday night at Malcolm and University Avenues Southeast, police said. She is in critical condition. KARE11 reports the victim works as a forensic scientist for the police department's crime lab. (KARE11)

2. More than 1,400 COVID-19 cases were reported Friday in Minnesota. According to the health department, about 70 percent of the total population has had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. (BMTN)

3. The Timberwolves are behind the Grizzlies 2-1 after a “historic meltdown” in game three Thursday night in Minneapolis. Game four is set for tonight at Target Center. (Sports Illustrated)
