1. The state trial for two former Minneapolis police officers will now be held in October due to “pretrial publicity” concerns. Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng will be tried for their connections to the George Floyd case. (KARE11)

2. An Eagan postal worker was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot. Frank Joseph Bratjan Jr. faces at least four charges including disorderly conduct. (Patch)

3. Fireworks will not be displayed over the Mississippi River on July 4. The city cites construction and staff shortages as reasons for the cancellation. (Patch)

4. COVID-19 hospitalization levels are “holding steady” across Minnesota, according to the state health department. More than 380 Minnesotans are currently hospitalized with the virus. (CBS)
