1. Local law enforcement agencies made more than 90 arrests in Minneapolis as part of a five-day "crime crackdown." The Operation Safe Summer Greater Minneapolis Violent Crime Initiative began in May and has led to the arrests of at least three people wanted for murder, along with seizing illegal guns and stolen cars. 2. A woman was shot and killed inside an RV in North Minneapolis Tuesday morning. Police said it occurred near the intersection of Girard Avenue North and Plymouth Avenue North. According to investigators, it did not appear to be a random shooting. (KARE11)
3. Owamni was named the country's "Best New Restaurant" at the James Beard Foundation Awards on Monday in Chicago. The downtown Minneapolis eatery was recognized for its “excellence in cuisine and hospitality.” (CBS)
4. More normal temperatures are expected today after extreme heat took over the Twin Cities Tuesday. Highs will not exceed the upper 70s today, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation. (Patch)
