1. The federal trial of three former Minneapolis police officers resumes this week after a pause due to COVID-19. Pulmonologist Dr. Andrew Systom testified Monday that George Floyd's cause of death by asphyxia "was an imminently reversible respiratory event right up to the moment he lost consciousness." (KARE11)
2. Seven men were charged last week with a string of violent crimes in Minneapolis, including carjacking, drug trafficking and possession of firearms. Most of the crimes occurred last year near Chicago and Franklin Avenues. (Bring Me The News)

3. Protests are expected to continue this week after Amir Locke was shot and killed by Minneapolis police. Hundreds gathered at the Hennepin County Government Center over the weekend to protest no-knock warrants. (Patch)
