ST. PAUL, MN — A lawsuit filed in August by former KSTP meteorologist Wren Clair was formally dismissed Wednesday after both she and the station asked a Ramsey County judge to close the case, according to new court records.

Judge Reynaldo Aligada, Jr., signed an order dismissing the lawsuit with prejudice, meaning it is permanently closed and cannot be refiled.

The request for dismissal was submitted jointly by Clair, whose legal name is Renee Fox, and KSTP.

The filing does not explain why the parties sought dismissal, and the court’s order contains no additional details.

Clair’s lawsuit said she experienced sexual harassment while working at KSTP and claimed her February 2025 termination was retaliatory. KSTP denied the allegations.

When Patch requested comment in August, KSTP News Director Mike Garber responded, "KSTP does not comment on personnel matters or active litigation."

Clair worked at KSTP from 2018 until her termination earlier this year. She then worked briefly as a meteorologist at KARE 11.
