TWIN CITIES, MN — Twin Cities residents can expect light snow accumulation — less than an inch — Tuesday evening before temperatures plunge below zero, with wind chills reaching 19 degrees below zero, according to the latest forecast.

"An Arctic cold front will bring the chance for accumulating snow, strong winds, and frigid air to the Upper Midwest starting later today," the National Weather Service said.

"Snow accumulations up to one inch may create slick travel conditions Wednesday morning. Sub-zero air temperatures and wind chills on deck Wednesday and Thursday!"
