1. The city of Minneapolis has settled in a lawsuit brought by Jaleel Kevin Stallings, who says he was beaten by police at a 2020 protest following the death of George Floyd. The city will pay him $1.5 million but noted "the settlement is not an admission of liability from the officers or the city."(KARE11)
2. Vaccinated children between ages five and 11 are now eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot, the FDA announced Tuesday. Children in this age group can get a booster as long as their second vaccine dose was at least five months ago. (NPR)

3. Vandalism was reported this week at the Memorial to Survivors of Sexual Violence in Boom Island Park. Minneapolis park police are investigating the damage. (CBS)
4. Construction is underway on the new concessions pavilion area at Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis. Two new buildings, all-gender bathrooms and ample outdoor seating will be included among the improvements. (CBS)
