1. Authorities have not determined a motive in the deadly shooting outside a Richfield school Tuesday. A 15-year-old student was killed, and a 17 year old was critically injured at South Education Center. Two suspects have been arrested and are expected to face charges today. (KSTP)

2. A Minneapolis police officer shot and killed an unidentified armed man at a downtown apartment Wednesday morning, according to BMTN. Police Chief Amelia Huffman said the department was serving a search warrant for a St. Paul homicide investigation. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating. (BMTN)

3. A Minneapolis man is facing multiple charges after he drove a stolen truck into several squad cars Tuesday. Cody Robert Jarosz also led police in a chase on I-494 before being arrested and found in possession of a stolen gun and narcotics. (BMTN)

4. The federal trial of three former Minneapolis police officers has been halted until Monday after one of the defendants tested positive for COVID-19. Wednesday would have been the eighth day of the trial. (Paid source: Star Tribune)

5. Thirty Minnesotans will represent Team USA in this year's Winter Olympics, which kick off tomorrow in Beijing. Of those, 18 are hockey players. (CBS)
