TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect high temperatures to be well above average this week, with temperatures approaching 50 degrees on Thursday.

"Temperatures will go on a general warming trend through midweek, with record highs possible on Thursday," the National Weather Service said. "Only chance for precipitation comes today with spotty rain/snow showers."
