1. More than 5,000 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Minnesota on Tuesday. Hospitalizations stand at 6.6 per 100,000 residents. Eight cases per 100,000 would move the state into the high-risk category as determined by the CDC. (CBS)

2. Severe storms are possible in the Twin Cities today, according to the National Weather Service. Possible hail, high winds and tornadoes are in the forecast throughout the state. (BMTN)

3. The Minnesota State Patrol completed its roll-out of body cameras for state troopers, CBS reports. More than 700 body cameras have been issued by the state agency since late 2021. (CBS)
