1. A 14-year-old boy was shot Sunday night in North Minneapolis near 36th and Lyndale avenues. At least 20 shots were fired, according to police. CBS reports the teen is expected to recover. (CBS)
2. “All modes of severe weather” will be possible today across Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service. The Twin Cities have a “marginal” risk of being hit with tornadoes or hail. (Paid source: Star Tribune)

3. Minneapolis Public Schools will extend the school day by 42 minutes beginning this week. The district is looking to make up classroom time lost by the 15-day teachers strike. (KARE11)
