Minnesota's snow chances ramp up this week, with up to 5 inches possible by Thursday.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The Twin Cities could finally see some snow just in time for Christmas, with multiple rounds expected this week. Light snow chances begin Tuesday and Wednesday, but the best shot comes Thursday, when 2 to 4 inches could accumulate.
With temperatures staying cold and additional flurries possible, it looks like a wintry scene might take hold as the holiday approaches.

Wednesday Night: Snow likely after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a steady temperature around 17. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday: Snow. High near 25. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
