Weather Advisory Issued As Ice, Snow And Fog Head To Twin Cities
The hazardous weather advisory goes into place a midnight tonight.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – A weather advisory has been issued for the Twin Cities as freezing rain Friday night is expected to become snow Saturday.
A tenth of an inch of ice is expected to make for dangerous road conditions from midnight until 9 a.m. Saturday, the National Weather Service said. Thunderstorms are also possible Saturday.
Coupled with the ice could be dense fog Saturday morning, with rain during the day turning to snow Saturday night. Little accumulation is expected.

Rain, mainly after 2am. Patchy fog after 4am. Low around 33. East southeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

A chance of rain and thunderstorms, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Widespread fog, mainly before 11am. High near 43. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Rain before 1am, then rain and snow likely between 1am and 2am, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing rain after 2am. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 28. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 10 to 20 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Freezing rain likely, possibly mixed with snow before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 33. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
