1. A Minneapolis man died Thursday night after being stabbed in the 2200 block of 4th St. North, KARE11 reports. He has not yet been named by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. (KARE11)
2. A Congressional seat in the “ultra-blue” 5th district is on the ballot for the Aug. 9 primary. Moderate Democrat Don Samuels is challenging incumbent Rep. Ilhan Omar, who MinnPost calls “a trailblazing activist of the multicultural left.” (MinnPost)

3. Vaccinated Minnesotans under the age of 50 will likely be able to get second COVID-19 boosters this fall. According to MPR News, “officials are planning to speed up availability of the next generation of boosters” later this year and are scrapping plans to recommend summer boosters for younger people. 4. Planned Parenthood is applauding Minnesota’s attorney general for deciding not to appeal a recent ruling that struck down many abortion restrictions in the state. AG Keith Ellison announced this week that he will not appeal this week "after long and careful consideration."(Patch)
