Avidor Minnetonka to Host Second Annual Pet Adoption Event on Nov.
Thinking about bringing a new pet into your household? If so, a dog, cat, kitten adoption event is happening in Minnetonka on Sat., Nov. 16.
(Minnetonka) – The holiday season has arrived, and the theme is of course giving. People in the West Metro who have been thinking about bringing a new pet into their household are invited to participate in Avidor Minnetonka’s second annual Pet Adoption Event on Saturday, November 16, 2024, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Avidor Minnetonka is located at 12610 Ridgedale Drive, Minnetonka, MN 55305. The community is at the southwest corner of the Ridgedale Mall property.
This year’s event it is being held in partnership with the Carver Scott Humane Society, which will be bringing dogs, cats and kittens seeking furr-ever homes. “Avidor Minnetonka is a pet friendly community, so this is the perfect event to have here,” said Sue Bonner, Community Manager.
In addition to having the opportunity to get acquainted with the animals, the event also provides animal lovers with a chance to interact with local businesses that provide services for pets. Dog groomer Wagmore will have a table at the event. So will Bark Busters, a home dog training service.

During the event, guests will also have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win one of several gift baskets containing pet-related items that are being given away by the participating vendors. Avidor Minnetonka has a nice prize too: a free 2-night staycation at the community.
