It's Time for Oakdale Fall Festivals This Weekend

Two local churches will be hosting their annual fall festivals to raise money for their churches.

and each will host their own Fall Festival starting Friday and both will end on Sunday. 

Transfiguration raised $55,000 last year and is hoping to reach $60,000 this year. Guardian Angels is hoping to raise $100,000. Proceeds from both events will go to each church. 

New to this year are interactive games for groups of four people. They will also have musical entertainment provided by The Dweebs on Saturday night. The church will also host its second annual Holy Soles 5k run/walk on Friday.

Guardian Angels plans to launch its fireworks display as usual on Saturday night. The Lake Elmo Inn will also be catering a pasta dinner on Saturday and a chicken dinner on Sunday. Guardian Angels will also be hosting some new children's games.

• 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Jolly Huntsmen 
• 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Pork Fest
