Aramark Laying Off 56 Workers From Golden Valley Facilites
Aramark provides food services and related equipment to hospitals, universities, school districts, stadiums, and other businesses.
GOLDEN VALLEY, MN — Food giant Aramark is laying off 56 people from its facilities in Golden Valley, the company told the state in a Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) letter.
The permanent layoff will take place on May 31 at facilities located at 9000 Plymouth Avenue and 1 General Mills Boulevard, Golden Valley.
Philadelphia-based Aramark provides food services and related equipment to hospitals, universities, school districts, stadiums, and other businesses.

Some of the employees losing work are represented by a union, the company said, but there are no trade implications involved in the cessation.
Positions affected in this layoff include Custodial Manager Sr., Custodial Manager, Custodial Supervisor, General Manager, Operations Manager, Support Services Coordinator, Conference Services Worker, Custodial Services Worker, Custodial Services Worker Lead, Custodial Supervisor, General Utility Worker, Hospitality Worker Lead, Maintenance Worker, and Painter.
