City officials say the increases follow a 2023 utility rate study and are meant to reflect the true cost of services, while reserves will temporarily cover two new utility-funded staff positions.

2. Nurse, real estate investor gets 3 years for role as 'ringleader' in $420M bank fraud (bringmethenews.com) — A Plymouth resident has been sentenced to three years in federal prison and ordered to pay restitution after being identified as the organizer of a large bank fraud scheme. Prosecutors say he helped arrange dozens of commercial real estate deals using falsified financial information, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in fraudulent loans. The case highlights serious white-collar crime tied to a local individual.

Her spontaneous, thoughtful compliments have moved some visitors to tears and reminded many residents how small acts of kindness can ripple through the community.

4. Sister of Key George Floyd Witness Arrested by ICE (newsweek.com) — Plymouth police were among the first responders after federal agents said a woman briefly drove off with a Homeland Security officer, ending at the New Hope police station.
