• Robbinsdale Board Votes to Shutter Three Schools, Admin Building (ccxmedia.org) — Families in the Robbinsdale school district, including those living in Plymouth, face major changes after the board voted to close Noble and Sonnesyn elementary schools, Robbinsdale Middle School, and the district’s Education Service Center after 2025-26. The move follows a $21 million budget deficit and could trigger additional program shifts, with more decisions coming at a January public hearing. 
• POLICE REPORT: Noise protest held at Edina hotel allegedly hosting ICE agents (hometownsource.com) — Plymouth police were among several suburban departments called in to help Edina officers manage a loud, fast-growing protest outside a hotel allegedly hosting ICE agents. The demonstration drew about 100 people, escalated with property-pounding and confrontations, and was cleared after a trespass dispersal order, with no further incidents reported that night.
