Just after 3 p.m. on Sept. 12, the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a fatal three-car crash at the intersection of Highway 55 and Industrial Park Boulevard in Plymouth.
Driving a 2011 Toyota Camry, Boll was speeding, ran a red light, and crashed into Caron's 2020 Dodge Ram, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third driver involved in the crash was charged with non-felony offenses, according to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office.
According to a crash reconstruction by the Minnesota State Patrol, Boll was traveling at least 71 mph in a 55-mph zone and had sufficient time to stop before the red light.
