This week promises to be a busy one at the Plymouth City Council.
Council members are first scheduled to meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in City Hall's Medicine Lake conference room to learn more about prospective city manager Dave Callister's contract. The contract will be presented to council members during the meeting, but was not included in the agenda packet posted on the city website. Callister is currently the city's Administrative Services Director.
Immediately following the council's special session on Callister's employment, the council will reconvene for a regular session. The agenda is packed, but most significantly, the council is slated to vote on one subdivision and hear plans for two more. The subdivision getting a council vote, called "Elm Creek Highlands East Fourth Addition," is located near the intersection of Schmidt Lake Road and Jewel Lane. The two subdivisions getting a preliminary examination, called "Cedar Hollow" and "Cedar Hollow West," are located near the intersection of Old Rockford Road and Highway 55 and near the intersection of Brockton Lane North and Navajo Road East, respectively.
Plans of all three subdivisions and further information are available in the meeting's agenda packets, posted on the city website.
The Plymouth Environmental Quality Committee is also meeting this week on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Plymouth Creek Center, but as of publication time, no agenda has been posted online.
