• Should MnDOT build noise walls on I-494? (startribune.com) — Richfield residents living near I-494 and I-35W can vote by Dec. 31 on whether MnDOT should build or replace highway noise walls that would reduce traffic noise in their neighborhoods. Only property owners who would see at least a 5‑decibel reduction are eligible, and the walls will move forward only if ballot response thresholds and majority support are met.
