Here are the top three stories today in Rochester-Mason City:

  1. Be a trendsetter and bring your children to the Nana Gogo Toybrary. This novel facility in Rochester provides an adventure and play escape for children up to eight years of age. Pavs Kumar, owner and founder, has written to guide the youngster's play called Adventure Quest. It is based on the concept of saving farmed animals from a coming storm. Tickets are on sale now for the opening on Jul. 1. (KTTC)
  2. Kaylie Ann Louise Bang, from Cerro Gordo County, was charged Tuesday with first-degree arson. The woman is alleged to have set fire to the house while she knew at least three people were inside and then prevented an onlooker from putting the fire out. She has a bond of $25,000 dollars. (KIMT 3)
  3. On Monday evening, a large John Deere Frontline Loader Fire went up in flames, just north of Rochester. Tree service employees were using it in a wooded area assisting a controlled burn with brush removal when the power brake system apparently caught fire. Work was halted and the Fire department put out the flames. (KROC-AM)
