Roseville Buying Parcel for Langton Lake Park Addition
The acquisition will help expand the city park.

Roseville's Langton Lake Park is going to get a little bit bigger.
The Roseville City Council this week approved acquiring three-quarters of an acre parcel from Roseville Twin Lakes LLC at 1984 County Road C2 for park purposes.
The purchase price is $243,000 and money for the acquisition will come from the city's Park Dedication Fund, said Interim City Manager Pat Trudgeon.
The business group approached the city earlier this year with an offer to sell the three-quarter acre parcel, which is adjacent to Langton Lake Park, Roseville Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke said in a city staff report.
Brokke said city policy is to protect and preserve natural environmental amenities, including lakes, ponds and wetlands.
