MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota's public school students continue to struggle academically following school shutdowns and other pandemic-related disruptions.
Math scores in particular have fallen to historic lows, according to a new report.
Nineteen of Minnesota's public schools — including 11 charter schools, six traditional schools, and two online schools — had zero students who were proficient in math according to analysis from the Center for the American Experiment.

Students at these schools could not demonstrate basic grade-level math skills during the 2021-2022 school year, according to the report:

As Patch previously reported, the number of Minnesota students overall who meet the standards in math, reading, and science over time has declined significantly since the pandemic:
