2 Twin Cities Restaurants Enforce Vaccine Mandates

TWIN CITIES, MN — W.A. Frost and Company is the second restaurant in Minnesota that now requires its customers to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

"As of September 1, we will be requiring proof of vaccination to dine indoors, or, alternatively, proof of a negative test for Covid-19 within 7 days of your visit," the historic St. Paul restaurant said.

"It is our great responsibility to keep our guests and team as safe as possible. Please bring the original, a copy, or a photo of your vaccine card with you, or proof of a negative Covid test."

Hark! Cafe — a vegan restaurant in downtown Minneapolis — has required proof of vaccination or a negative test since Aug. 24.

The mandates come as the highly infectious delta variant of the coronavirus brings a surge in new cases and deaths. On Thursday alone, 1,904 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, along with 22 deaths.
