Back To School: Minneapolis 2022-23 School Calendar

MINNEAPOLIS — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Minneapolis, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Minneapolis Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Minneapolis is Sept. 8.

Here is the list of dates to know for the 2022-2023 school year:

First day of school for grades 1-12: Sept. 6

First day of school for Pre-K and Kindergarten: Sept. 8

MEA break: Oct. 20-21

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25

Winter Break: Dec. 19-30

Spring Break: April 3-7

Last Day: June 15
