First Avenue Will Require Proof Of Vaccination
In lieu of a vaccination card, concert-goers can provide proof of a negative COVID-19 that was test taken within 72 hours.
MINNEAPOLIS — First Avenue is among the latest institutions in Minnesota to require proof of vaccination. The historic concert venue announced its new policy Tuesday.
"This policy pertains to all events at First Avenue, 7th St Entry, Turf Club, Fine Line, The Fitzgerald Theater, and Palace Theatre," the venue announced.
"Patrons must have a completed COVID-19 vaccination card, with their final dose at least fourteen days prior to the event, or a negative COVID-19 test result from 72 hours or less prior to the event."

The mandate comes as the highly infectious delta variant of the coronavirus brings a surge in new cases and hospitalizations across the nation. A slew of companies, universities and other institutions across Minnesota announced new mask and vaccine mandates recently.
