It's up to each individual school district in Minnesota to decide on whether to implement a mask mandate this year or not.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minnesota Department of Education recommends that all students, teachers, staff, and visitors in school buildings wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status.
However, it's up to each individual school district to decide on whether to implement a mask mandate or not, and several districts in the Twin Cities metro will not require them during the upcoming school year.
