St. Paul Public Schools Pass Vaccine Mandate For Staff

The mandate comes as the highly infectious delta variant of the coronavirus brings a surge in new cases and deaths.

SAINT PAUL, MN — The St. Paul Public Schools board Friday morning approved a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all district staff members. If the staff members refuse the vaccine, they must submit to weekly COVID testing.

The mandate comes as the highly infectious delta variant of the coronavirus brings a surge in new cases and deaths. On Thursday alone, 1,904 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, along with 22 deaths.
