Downtown Stillwater Tops KQRS ‘Best Of The Twin Cities’ Poll

Click hereSTILLWATER, MN — Downtown Stillwater was voted as the best place to take an out-of-towner in 92 KQRS’ “Best of the Twin Cities 2022” poll of listeners.

Downtown Stillwater was named the best attraction in the Twin Cities region, beating out the Minnesota Zoo, Minnehaha Falls, the Stone Arch Bridge and Walker Art Center.

Hundreds To Graduate Saturday From Stillwater Area High School

There are more than 50 unique independent owner-operated stores in downtown Stillwater, according to Discover Stillwater.

Downtown Stillwater has also been featured as one of the best shopping neighborhoods by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, while Fodor's named Stillwater as the sixth-best antiquing town in the U.S. in 2017, according to Discover Stillwater.

Stillwater was also voted as one of the best areas in the region to take a day trip. Duluth won the category, while Stillwater was a finalist alongside the Boundary Waters, Red Wing and Taylor Falls.
