Some Sunrise Avenue Houses Can Expect Water Shutoffs On Friday

The shutoff, for water system improvements, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will affect houses between Parkwood Lane and Northland Avenue.

STILLWATER, MN — Roughly a dozen Stillwater households can expect to have their water shut off on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow a contractor to complete water system improvements.

The shutoff will affect the properties on Sunrise Avenue between Parkwood Lane and Northland Avenue, the city of Stillwater said on Facebook. City officials will place door hangers on the affected properties to notify homeowners on Thursday.

Water service will be restored once the work has been completed. Water may be discolored right after service is restored, but should clear up quickly after homeowners flush their system by running cold water, the city said.
