Stillwater Readers Tell Us Their Favorite Burger Joints

WOODBURY, MN — Last week we posted a story about Yelp’s top-rated burger joints in Stillwater. Our Facebook readers reacted with some alternative suggestions.

Meister Burger Bar and Grill took top honors, garnering the most positive comments about the burger joints we did not mention in the original post. The “Burger Meister” seems to be a standby menu item for Meister loyalists. “Greasy” was used to describe Meister fare, both positively and pejoratively.

Mad Capper came in second place in terms of number of comments, including a mention that it is an “obvious omission” from any top-ten list of burger joints in Stillwater. Leo’s Grill and Malt Shop, Patriots Tavern, and Cozzie’s Tavern and Grill were also mentioned, to varying degrees of passion.
