WASHINGTON COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Washington County and other counties in Minnesota. The watch is in effect now until 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Wind gusts of up to 90 mph, and marble-sized hail, are possible.

"Damaging wind is the primary threat, and tornadoes are also possible," the NWS said. "Please be prepared to be off the roads when the storms arrive and seek shelter in the lowest floor of a sturdy structure."
