MAPLEWOOD, MN — Police are seeking the public’s help to find Pablo, a Frenchie who was dognapped more than a week ago in Maplewood and remains missing, authorities said.
Two St. Paul residents, 24-year-old Christopher Sherman Brigham and 34-year-old Chanessa Rena Gipson, have been charged with two counts of felony theft, according to police, but Pablo’s whereabouts are still unknown.
Pablo was stolen May 8 from the 1400 block of Skillman Avenue East, police said. The three-year-old French bulldog is blind in one eye, requires daily medication and has a scar on his lip, according to police.

“Pablo is still missing but I love and appreciate all the help and support from everyone that is looking for him,” his owner said Wednesday in a Facebook post.
Pablo cost $10,000, according to the Star Tribune, which reported the dog had escaped his backyard when he was stolen and that home surveillance captured the theft. The owner later received a Facebook message demanding $500 to get Pablo back, but they could only afford $100, the Tribune reported.
