200 Partake In New Woodbury Foundation's All-Abilities Race

Family Achievement Foundation provides love, support and resources to parents on a challenging journey.

WOODBURY, MN — Family Achievement Foundation hosted a race Sunday morning in Colby Lake Park in Woodbury.

Over 200 took part in the "Move To Your Own Groove All Abilities Race," the foundation shared with Patch.

The event raised awareness and funds for the foundation, volunteer Doug Killian said.

The races, a 50-meter, 1K and 5K, were open to people of all abilities, from runners to walkers to people in wheelchairs, the foundation said.

The event was sponsored by St. Cloud Financial Credit Union, American Waterworks, Family Achievement Center, F45 Training Woodbury and Tillges Certified Orthotic Prosthetic Inc., according to the foundation.

According to the foundation's website, Family Achievement Foundation provides love, support and resources to parents on a challenging journey.

"Whether that be for special needs or mental health concerns, our community will do our best to build meaningful resources that cover a broad range of parenting challenges," the website says.
