4 Woodbury Schools Remain On MDH Weekly Coronavirus Outbreak List
No Woodbury schools were added to or removed from the state's latest list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks released Thursday.
WOODBURY, MN — Four Woodbury schools were included Thursday on the Minnesota Department of Health’s list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks.
Woodbury High School was removed from the list last week, while Saint Ambrose Catholic School was added by state health officials, joining East Ridge High School, New Life Academy and Woodbury Leadership Academy, which have been on the list for several weeks.

The COVID-19 data dashboard for the South Washington Schools, which includes East Ridge High, shows there have been 90 total coronavirus cases this academic year across its four high schools, as of Oct. 28.

The district reported 78 total cases at its high schools Oct. 21.
The state’s data shows New Life Academy has recorded between five and nine coronavirus cases over three two-week periods spanning from Sept. 5 through Oct. 16.

St. Ambrose Catholic School was added to the coronavirus outbreak list last week after reporting between 10 and 19 cases from Oct. 3-16, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The state’s data shows Woodbury Leadership Academy reported five to nine cases from Sept. 19 to Oct. 2, but does not provide more recent statistics.
The number of Washington County schools with recent coronavirus outbreaks continues to grow each week. There were 26 Washington County schools on Thursday’s list, three more than last week.
Winter Parking Rules Take Effect In Woodbury
Eighty Minnesota schools were added to the list Thursday, taking the state’s total to 639 schools with coronavirus outbreaks.
A school is considered to have an outbreak when it reports five or more confirmed cases of the virus in students or staff who were in the building while infectious during the most recent two-week reporting period.
Schools on the list may not have ongoing transmission, according to MDH officials. Schools are removed from the list after 28 days without any new cases.
