87-Year-Old Blew Red Light In Deadly Cottage Grove Crash: State Patrol
At least one person was killed in a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Cottage Grove.

COTTAGE GROVER, MN — At least one person was killed Tuesday afternoon in Cottage Grove after a driver blew a red light, investigators said.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 2:45 p.m., a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro going northbound on Highway 61 blew past a red arrow, turning left onto Highway 95.
Meanwhile, a 2015 Dodge Ram Pickup going southbound on Highway 61 had a green light and broadsided the Camaro, authorities said.

Investigators have not yet publicly identified who was killed. That information is expected to be released Wednesday at noon.
