Afton Village Gets into the Holiday Spirit this Weekend with Pair of Events

Head up to Afton Village for an old-fashioned look at Christmas time in the St. Croix Valley area. 

FRIDAY, Dec. 6 is CANDLELIGHT NIGHT from 5 to 9 p.m.

Afton’s charming village will “light up” with torches and candles for a 
romantic evening! Enjoy Horse & Wagon rides, Strolling Carolers from River 
Falls H.S., Wine Tasting, Bonfires, Historic Tour and holiday shopping 
discounts throughout Afton’s unique shops.

SATURDAY, Dec. 7 is FAMILY DAY from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A day of fun for the entire family! Kids will enjoy Breakfast & Photos with 
Santa, Crafts, Storytelling, Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, Hair Tinsel, 
Face Painting, Lunch with Santa, Cookie Decorating & Holiday Ice Cream, 
Letters to Santa and Free treats from Afton’s shops. Everyone will enjoy the 
Horse & Wagon Rides, Strolling Carolers from Hudson H.S. & White Bear 
Lake H.S. and the Afton Elves. 



All Guests are invited to "Give Thanks and Give Back":

**Bring donations of warm (waterproof preferred) hats and mittens to benefit 
children in need throughout the state. Collection is on behalf of hatsandmittens.org. Donation drop 
off at Baglio’s mitten tree. 

 **Love YOUR Melon: One for One program- Buy one hat and one is gifted to a child 
fighting cancer.  Local roots founder, 
Zackary Quinn will be on site at Afton House Inn.
