Friends of Africa Education held its 12th annual golf tournament Aug. 9 at Oak Marsh Golf Course in Oakdale, and the event—which included dinner and a silent auction—raised more than $21,000.
The funds will be used to build a high school classroom and buy books in the Mungao region of Kenya and to support a computer lab and one year sponsorship of a student at St. Margaret's Academy in Tanzania.
