Georgine Marian Pliske, 86 years old, passed away peacefully in Woodbury (previously of Plymouth), Minnesota on December 28, 2012. She was born in Eau Claire, WI on January 8, 1926 to Nick and Vivian Pliske.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Mary Pavelski.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Bruce Pavelski of Oro Valley, AZ, and nieces and nephews, Gregg and Sue Pavelski of St. Louis, MO, Geoff and Judy Pavelski of Detroit, MI, Niki and Rich Stern of Oro Valley, AZ, John and Donna Pavelski of St. Louis, MO, and Ann and Roland Morin of Hartford, CT.

Georgine was employed as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. for over 35 years.  As a charter member of the Viking ABWA Chapter, she served as President and Chairman, where she was honored as Woman of the Year in 2002.  She also served as a member of the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and was an avid volunteer to WAMSO Minnesota Orchestra Association. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
