‘Bachelorette’ From Woodbury Co-Hosting ‘Happy Hour’ Podcast

Woodbury High grad Michelle Young made her debut Tuesday on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast alongside Prior Lake native Becca Kufrin.

MINNESOTA — Months after finding love on the “Bachelorette,” Woodbury High School graduate Michelle Young made a second debut in the “Bachelor” world, co-hosting her first podcast episode Tuesday with Becca Kufrin.

Young, 28, is a teacher at Echo Park Elementary in Burnsville. She concluded her run as the protagonist on ABC’s reality series in December, when she announced her engagement to Nayte Olukoya.

She said Tuesday on her first episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” that she and Olukoya are still looking for a home but aren’t sure if it will be in Minnesota, the Star Tribune reported.

Kufrin, a Prior Lake native and fellow former "Bachelorette," has been hosting the podcast with guests for about a year after Rachel Lindsay left the show.

Kufrin hosted a production of “The Bachelor Live On Stage” Tuesday night at the State Theatre, where Young made an appearance, the Star Tribune reported.
